Milwaukee, Wisconsin
IT consulting in Milwaukee, from a team that knows the plant floor.
Served from our Chicago office, ninety minutes south on I-94. Microsoft 365, managed IT, and AI adoption for Milwaukee's manufacturers, health systems, and professional firms.

IT consulting Milwaukee
Milwaukee's economy has two centres of gravity and they behave very differently. There is the industrial side, Rockwell Automation, Harley-Davidson, Johnson Controls and the enormous supplier network around them, where the technology conversation is about the boundary between the office network and the plant floor. And there is the downtown professional side, Northwestern Mutual and the banks, insurers, and law firms in the Third Ward and along Wisconsin Avenue, where it is about documents, retention, and who can see what.
The health systems sit somewhere between the two. Froedtert, Advocate Aurora, and the clinics and practices in their orbit generate governance requirements that most IT providers politely avoid. We do not, but we are specific about where our depth actually is: identity, Microsoft 365, data governance, and the operational discipline around them.
We do not have a Milwaukee office and this page is not going to imply otherwise. Our Chicago team covers Wisconsin, the drive is about ninety minutes each way on a good day, and that is genuinely fine for the rhythm of most engagements. We schedule onsite time deliberately rather than pretending we can drop in, and we say at the outset how often you should expect to see us.
What we do for Milwaukee clients
Manufacturing, healthcare, and professional services all pull on different parts of this.
- 01Microsoft 365 consultingMigrations, governance, SharePoint and Teams structure, and managed services with a named senior engineer.
- 02AI servicesCopilot readiness and adoption, AI governance, and automation aimed at the paperwork rather than the marketing.
- 03IT consulting & vCIOVirtual CIO advisory, project delivery, and custom software when the off the shelf option genuinely does not fit.
What Milwaukee actually calls about
Manufacturing, health, and finance generate different failures. These are the ones we see.
- 01
Office IT and plant IT that never agreed on anything
The front office runs Microsoft 365 and the plant runs whatever the machine builders left behind, and the boundary between them was drawn by nobody in particular. We are not going to pretend to be an OT security firm, but we will get identity, remote access, and the office side of that boundary into a defensible shape and be clear about where our scope ends.

A supplier questionnaire you cannot answer yet
Milwaukee manufacturers sell into automotive, aerospace, and defence supply chains, and those customers send security questionnaires with real teeth. The first one is always painful. We work through it with you, fix what genuinely needs fixing, and set things up so the second one takes an afternoon rather than a quarter.

Thirty years of files and no retention policy
Long lived Milwaukee businesses accumulate enormous document estates: drawings, contracts, HR files, and case records going back decades, spread across file servers, SharePoint, and somebody's OneDrive. We work out what has to be kept, what legally should not be, and build a structure people will actually use instead of routing around.

Copilot in a business with real confidentiality
Health systems, law firms, and finance operations cannot roll Copilot out on defaults. It surfaces whatever a user could already open, which in most tenants is more than intended. We tighten permissions, apply sensitivity labels where they matter, and pilot with the teams where the payback is obvious.

Coverage
The nearest Simply iCard office is in Chicago, at 205 N Michigan Avenue, about ninety miles south. That is a real distance and we plan around it honestly rather than pretending it does not exist. Onsite days here are scheduled in advance and used properly: cutover weekends, discovery sessions where we need to walk the building, and the leadership meetings that decide budgets.
Everything else runs remotely, which for Microsoft 365 work is not a compromise. Tenant configuration, migration, governance, and support are all done better from a console than from a chair in your office, and it keeps travel off your invoice. If you want a fixed number of onsite days a quarter, we will write it into the agreement.
The same team covers south eastern Wisconsin from Chicago: Waukesha, Brookfield, Wauwatosa, Racine, and Kenosha, and we take work in Madison and the Fox Valley where the fit is right. If you need someone who can be at your door in twenty minutes for hardware failures, be honest with yourself about that requirement and we will be honest back about whether we are the right answer.
No. Our offices are in Chicago and Denver. Milwaukee is served by the Chicago team, ninety minutes down I-94, and we would rather say that plainly than publish a Wisconsin address we do not sit at. Onsite time is scheduled deliberately and written into the agreement.
